So I ran across this site that lists Liberty as a current client along with several of LU's Virginia Higher Ed neighbors. The company is MMM Design Group based out of the 757.
http://www.mmmdesigngroup.com/clientsedu.htm
There is a graphic with some interesting alterations to it from the one previously made back in 1998 or so (the one made prior to the Ericsson acquisition.)
Here are both pics in addition to a current LU overview: (Have fun comparing them...I was briefly working on figuring out the color coded key from the MMM Design Group one.)
A. Circa 1998 or so (by JEA Associates)
B. More recent (probably within the last two years or so (MMM Design Group)
C. Current Overview:

We posted some artist renditions of proposed DeMoss plans a few years back on the Firehouse from this group.
It is interesting to see how plans have changed based on surprising developments (Hooray for Hobby Lobby).

speaking of additions, part of the dining renovations included a freestanding diner on campus, anyone in lynchburg know if they have started this or where its going to be on campus?

Yeah, I found those online and posted them here awhile ago. There are some interesting additional buildings and absence of buildings in the MMM Design Group rendering (notably, the circle is gone replaced by a large open space of some sort, the softball field is gone from it's current location, there are ancillary buildings around...it definitely is interesting to see what the metamophosis has been. It would be nice to see a current plan...)

like the concept of razing Dorm Circle- the current layout looks hideous on a site map like those.
sorta like a twister hit the ol' trailer park and we just left it that way.

Renovations started to the Rot, not a free standing dining hall somewhere else on campus.

They were toying with the notion of a 50's style diner around Campus East. It would be open to the public with signage on the highway.

I was told they are putting something on east, but my understanding was that it was just renovating something else.

we were "sorta" approached about the marketing of it. I still don't think it is official, just an idea at this point. Of course, you know how it is around here, it can change in 24 hrs. We might even end up with a truck stop & a waitress named Flo.

That's a great idea. Most peope in this town think it's still 1958 anyway.

Yeah, I bet that new movie The Bridge on the River Kwai is going to be horrible.
However, I sense a strong "feeling" about that Alec Guinness actor. He might have a bright film career ahead.

I just remember in the artist renderings they showed of the inside that there was a Bud Light sign...if they need a beer man, this champion is ready. Just remember to tip

Actually, I think it was a Duff sign. And this guy already has the job.

Can he custom draft it based on the amount of head a customer wants?

Cartwheels will never get old.
BJ stalking Hancock will never get old.
This one will, simply because the culprit is proud of what he said and routinely refers to it himself.

Not exactly proud...but referring to it myself is part of the plan to help make it get old.
On another note...this is post #2000 for me

Yes "At the Hop" didn't bomb once, why not try it again.
