KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) - Police spotted a fire crew hooking their hose into a hydrant and filling a private swimming pool with water, authorities said.

Now I've seen everything. This is kind of like when the local VDOT guy paved his own driveway with VDOT gear at taxpayers expense. He got canned and had to pay pack all the $. This is different because the crew may lose their job or be disciplined for helping someone else.

Strange stuff. If it's like most fire hydrants, it bypasses the water treatment plant, and who wants that in their pool. Maybe it's from the river and they wanted to go fishing.

that's strange that the popo would turn in a fire crew. I thought them and the parameds were all buddy buddy.
