Stately Scarborough Manor, The Dunk and MRS SCAR's Cookies

Ok,
the big move from Lynchburg is happening this Saturday. The good part about the move is that we are already packed up. The second good thing is that half of our stuff is already in Richmond and has been for a year. The 3rd good thing about this move is that there is no moving truck. Loading everything into a POD and they take it to Richmond to their storage facility until we find a new house... I am not asking for help as I have 2 or 3 flamefans signed up (Smoothie and GMTM) plus as I stated, we don't have a lot of stuff to move. However if you want to see a poster of "the Dunk", Eat some good Chocolate chip or Peanut butter cookies, or just want to stop in and say good bye, please do. I am gonna miss Lynchburg but not really as I plan on being there a ton especially during football and obviously when I am calling games for basketball on FTN. PM me if you want directions to the house. Hopefully Tim Houghton will see this thread too because I may need to borrow a pickup truck to haul stuff to good will and the city dump.

here's a tip- don't let Carone hold the house keys, and if you can- make sure he's NOT the last one out.

Great point! I will have to remind those guys not to lock the door when they are helping. I still don't know why people want to lock that door. The realtor has done it a couple of times too but I always have the spare key there now...Medic, you should get a weekend pass and get down to help (Kidding Mrs Medic, Kidding).

I thought I unlocked it because it wasn't opening. My first thought when a door doesn't open: "Oh, I need to unlock it." I didn't think, "Oh, it's just stuck."

Wish I could be there for the festivities. But a zillion screaming kids at ITZ birthday party in Houston are on my to do list Saturday.

Got a confirmation from Erik Sorensen that he will be helping with the move as well. I helped him move to Lynchburg 3 weeks ago and he is reciprocating. So there is another reason to come out and lift a box or two

I will be moving too so im stuck all day... I would love to come by and see you guys and say bye, but...... wait a minute... DID YOU SAY COOKIES?! MRS. SCAR COOKIES?! I'LL BE THERE AT SOME POINT!

Timmy, glad to hear from you bro. I will see you tomorrow. Wow I have never had this much help to move and I have moved a lot! Thanks guys! Can't wait to get this over with that is for sure. You guys will make it go a lot faster!

I got there late, about 3:35, but SCAR was nice enough to unlock his POD to show me his framed DUNKING poster: two-handed slam against #9 ETSU in 1990 in the Schilling. Soon to be on U-Tube, we hope.

Guys, thanks for the help! Special thanks to Erik Sorensen. He was there early, with wife and kid in tow and he went to work! GMTM and Tim Houghton got me to the dump and goodwill as well as moving a ton of stuff. MRS SCAR's cookies were great. Sorry Jim you missed them but thanks for stopping by anyway. Smoothie, where are ya bud? We missed you. It's all good...Jim, the dunk was nasty man, I'm tellin ya! I packed the video away as well but at some point I will YouTube it. Thanks again guys....Amy Winehouse's tatoo is pretty graphic and Scorcho is absolutely right.
