It's scary how many of us read TMZ on a regular basis.

TMZ? I saw it on CNN.

Sounds like she was in tears...kicking and Screaming...and will have to serve all 40+ days.

I generally try to avoid caring about anything in Hollywood outside of movies, but this has just been all over everything. You can't help but follow what's going on. I think the whole thing is kinda funny.

My reaction to this was the same as when I heard that Curt Schilling had lost a no-hitter with 1 out to go: high-pitched evil laughter.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Screaming and crying, Paris Hilton was escorted out of a courtroom and back to jail Friday after a judge ruled that she must serve out her entire 45-day sentence behind bars rather than in her Hollywood Hills home.

"It's not right!" shouted the weeping Hilton, who violated her parole in a reckless driving case. "Mom!" she called out to her mother in the audience.

You know, there are children in Darfur who would kill to be able to live in solitary confinement for a few weeks, inside an 8 x 12 cell with plumbing, lighting, meals delivered, and an hour of recreation and showering available. And they won't have $50 billion to fall back on once they get out.



I do think the punishment, if it is actually a full 45 days, is a little harsh considering she could have gotten out in 23 and the fact that the preacher's wife who iced her husband got 210 in jail with another 210 in a mental facility.

She was the victim of severe abuse who finally stood up for herself.

Paris was just a drunken idiot behind the wheel of a car without regard for anyone else in the world.

If you ask me, their sentences should be swapped.

I think Paris should be under house arrest at my house.
