I'm off to sit my round rear end on the sand for a few days. Have a nice Friday in your offices and classes.

Will you be sitting in the sand with a laptop? Which beach (or sandbox)?

If they had WiFi on the beach...I probably would. The worst I've done so far is take it down to a hotel pool once.

I had a discontinued Apple Powerbook when I was at LU. One of my roomates spilled a glass of water into the keyboard accidentally while it was on. He turned it off and told me about it.

It looked like it had dried, so I turned it on, and it fired right back up and worked fine for another year. (Although about a year later the keyboard seemed to short out and mess up, and it died...but it lasted a year after the incident).

Go to my facebook and you will see pics of me and the some of my in-laws with laptops. We had a beach house in Texas and there were 3 laptops going at once...Times have changed. I can't stand being disconnnected.
