Hey, I'm tough and I'm busy. If you're putting on a serial show, you've got to suck me in from the get-go. You've got to make have to watch. 'Lost' did that, intially, and so did 'Heroes'. This one not so much.

I am with you on Heroes. My new favorite show this year by far!

Heroes is the best show on TV right now. Well, it's the best one of these types of shows. Did anybody else watch Drive? I kinda liked it. It's since been cancelled. Now we'll never know if his wife will live.

I liked 'Drive'. I'm a big Nathan Fillion fan.

I kind of liked Drive as well. We are going to get a 2 show "fianle" of sorts sometime this summer. I read that somewhere...I will try to find a link.

Keep your Fourth of July open...one night...2 hour finale...
'Drive' Refuels For July Burn-Off
Leave your 4th of July open
May 9, 2007

Nathan Fillion on 'Drive'FOX is bringing back the short-lived car-race drama "Drive," albeit for one night only.

The abruptly cancelled Tim Minear-produced series will return on Wednesday, July 4 for two consecutive hours, running from 8-10 p.m. ET. Those two hours will represent the end of the show's initial six-hour run, as well as the last two produced hours for "Drive" (i.e. don't expect an extensive DVD set featuring 13 episodes, because they don't exist).

well, I hope we get some kind of closure. But I doubt it. I'm sure they didn't anticipate getting cancelled. I bet it'll be some insane cliffhanger that we'll never get resolved.

I liked Traveler, but not as much as it was hyped. Speaking of shows.. anyone seen Jeff Goldblum's "Raines"? I liked what I saw of it, just think it might not make it. I am not a BIG Heroes fan, but I watch it to appease the wife...

I really liked Traveler. I think if they do it right (See 2 MAYBE 3 seasons) it has some serious potential

I also liked DRIVE, especially the cars. There were a TON of great story lines there. HOw about Soccer Dad??? Plus, anything with the former pilot of Serenity gets my vote for a show!

That pretty much sucks...I just got done watching the pilot online and thought it had the potential to be a decent summer show...oh well

With LOST's time slot on Wednesdays they should at least get one season done IMO. I just found out that Jericho has been cancelled along with Close to Home and The Class on CBS. My spouse and I liked Jericho and it's direction...

I liked Jerischo initially but then the storylines started dragging out a bit too much. I have a very short attention span. 8)

Lib...where did you see this? Reading TV Guide it mentions that it will be on next Wed. They will air the premeire show at 9 and then the new show at 10. Apparently the premeire was only shown as a "teaser." I have not seen anything concrete as of yet that says the show is cancelled. My Tivo also has it listed as coming on next week.

It's not on ABC's slate for next fall.

Also, on the topic of TV news, Donald Trump has reportedly quit 'The Apprentice' after NBC left it off the Fall '07 schedule.

I assumed that it was just going to be a summer show anyway. So you have not heard anything about it being cancelled for the summer, right?

The Trump stuff is funny. I actually watched most of the Apprentice this past year...he kept referring to his Number 1 show on TV...not sure what rankings he was using..

Traveler is slated for a Summer series. Studios have started to do that more and more. You had America's Got Talent, Psych, Life on Mars and Dr Who among others who were summer hits last summer.

so it hasn't "officially" been cancelled because it wasn't meant to be a fall show..

i watched 2 hours of this last night...the problem i see with it is that i'm 2 hours in and there is nothing i like about either boys....i almost want to shoot them too.

the overzealous fbi guy is a bit much

i didn't start watching heroes because it was an nbc show and i didn't want to get involved because i assumed massive failure. i will now wait for the dvd's and pick it up.

i was doing the same for jehrico. and now i'm glad i didn't invest the time.

i will continue to watch traveler because my wife loved it. amongst the best impression auditions and last comic standing this summer, as well as catch up on the entire season of csi ny.
