I have an 8 page paper due tomorrow. I started last night and wrote two pages really quickly then said I'd take a break. My break lasted the entire night.

I just wrote another page and figured I'd take another break.

Who else is putting off papers?

Start a new thread. It's the off season and we need as many new threads as possible. That way we can take two threads completely off topic instead of just one.

Five pages done. The next page and a half should be extremely easy to write, then a conclusion to the whole thing and I'm done.

That means it's nap time.

Does not grading your students' school work count? If so...count me in!

Universal fix for all electronics:

Unplug it. Walk away. Come back. Plug it back in.

If it doesn't come back on the first time, wait longer.

If it never comes back on, well then, it probably never will. Go get another one.

i don't even feel like i can get work done unless it's last second, on the line and under pressure.

for example, i can't start a paper early. it has to be written at one time. thanks to those teachers that require a rough draft... otherwise i'd be writing the final paper the day it's due (as oppose to just editing a draft the day it's due).

little problem with that. theres like 100 cords under my desk, and i'm too lazy to sort them enough to figure out which one it is

Then you are screwed, sir.

My problem with my printer is a) I'm out of black ink and b) I reformatted my computer and don't have the software for my printer and it won't work without loading the software unless someone smarter than me can fix that.

SuperJon...you probably can go to the printer's manufacturer site and download the drivers...simply google the printer name and model, and the word "driver."

Fumble to the rescue! Seriously, that should work for you, SJ, as long as you know the specifics about your printer.

I'll have to do that, just not tonight since I don't have black ink.
