Oh baby I was there. How awesome was it. Before the third inning I definitely had 2 burgers, 1 hotdog, 3 slices of pizza, 2 peanuts.... went back in the sixth and they said no more food after 6th inning!!! I was heart broken. I'm so full now though.

Yea, that was me, JDub, and Bryson. I saw quite a few people there that I knew, but didn't see you Will. HMO was with us for a few minutes.
As for me, I downed 5 hot dogs, a burger, fries, and two drinks.
JDub had 4 hot dogs, a piece of pizza, a hamburger and a drink I think.
Bryson had a couple pieces of pizza, two hot dogs, a hamburger, a cup of peanuts, and a drink.
Good times.

2 hot dogs, 2 burgers, 2 slices of pizza, 2 drinks and some peanuts... all outside, watching sports, checking out the lynchburg crowd (mostly girls between the ages of 18-25).
possibly the best night of my life.
SJ saved the day on this one!

i really hope this is seriously every tuesday night. for the first 3 innings me and my girlfriend just kept getting food. I stupidly ate at the rot at 5:30 though, so my stomach was full of crap food and i could only eat 5 hotdogs. Kinda sucks that the drinks werent free.

Yep...I seriously hate whoever came up with that idea. People are cheap when they get free food and don't tip their beer guy like they do other nights...grrr!!!!!

I knew it wouldn't take long for you to complain about it.
I love it.

All you can eat ballpark food for 10 bucks? That sounds like a college guy's dream come true!

It's not quite the good ballpark food, but it's still good. It's the smaller hot dogs, not the good Ballpark dogs and by the 6th inning they're cold, but hey, none of us were complaining.
I'm sure they make a crapload of money off of drinks and fries.

I'm sure if I were just a fan, I'd love it to.
And SJ is correct, the dogs and burgers are smaller, and they do get cold.
JUST REMEMBER TO TIP YOUR BEER GUY!!!!

Super and others, 2 questions:
What's the total cost ($10 plus ticket)--something like $18?
Was it only the guys eating or were there college girls in the park putting down mutiple burgers & dogs, too?

by SuperJon
No Doc, it's $10 for the ticket and food. $10 total, unless you buy a drink.
There were girls eating. Of course, I doubt it was as much, but I saw a lot of girls go up to the line at least twice.
When you're in college, you'll take all the free food you can.

This shows the difference between Lynchburg and Asheville. The Asheville minor league team does (or used to) THIRSTY THURSDAY....
...$1 adult non-LU approved beverages.
