A friend of mine in the DLP office told me of a new student that has just enrolled. A man by the name of Rick Rechsteiner. You may know him as...
THE DOG-FACED GREMLIN, RICK STEINER
Ofcourse, this is just hear-say... but it made me excited!

Sting and Lex Lugar and making a tear through these guys. Sting was instrumental in leading Lex to salvation and I'm sure they had a hand in Steiner's dicisipleship.
Pretty sweet, though.

look for lex lugar to be coming to LU soon...he's a big christian now and I think we're trying to get him here and to speak at the Lynchburg Sports Club.

I wish Sting would come and drop from the rafters for convo. I'd go that day.

i think jerry should consider dropping from the rafters... that'd be awesome. maybe have elmer and godwin come in on motorcycles from behind the stage.

Perhaps they can convince one of these guys to speak in convo? How sweet would that be?

That would be awesome...
one day a bunch of us (GMTM included) were in the radio station talking to Caner about wrestling...someone brought up bringing Sting in for convo and Caner said he is friends with his PR guy, but Sting is booked solid a year in advance and its tough to get him in....
Lex Luger should come to Convo while he is in town...
on a side note not so many years ago there was suspension he accidentally killed Miss Elizabeth (from macho man days)...but he was never charged with anything...he was very much involved with drugs and its cool to see him getting his life on track....its amazing how one guy (sting) can be used by God in so many wrestlers lives....

Sting and HBK have been the two big ones.

yeah, HBK is having a harder time then Sting because before HBK became a Christian he was known as a jerk...not a lot of people liked him, and its hard for people to believe he could change....but I am sure in time HBK will have the same kind of impact that Sting has had
and by people I mean people he worked with...not people as in fans....

Old schoolers remember Ted DiBiase, the million dollar man. The whole time he was the leader of the villains in the old WWF he was preaching at churches on Sunday mornings after Saturday night live shows. I think most people can make the distinction between character and reality. DiBiase used to use his character to set up his real message.
