I couldn't finish it. Once the non-melodic screaming starts, I'm done.

Done as in I will turn it off, walk out or tell a band to cut it out. Whatever is necessary and/or appropriate.

For the record, that sort of legalism has nothing to do with my prior statement. Me being a total music snob has everything to do with it. I'm aware of it, and accept that other people will like music that I do not care for. At all.

I've been a Christian since as long as I can remember (seriously, I don't remember before I was). The song got me to LU though.

Hey SJ, if you don't mind me asking I was wondering how that song played a roll in your decision to come to LU?
Great Video BTW

This was an old one to bring up.
Anyways, I'll give ya the short version here. If you want the longer more in-depth version I can give that later. Anyways, that song got stuck in my head back in the fall of 2006. I didn't know why. I always heard it in my head and just couldn't get away from "Jesus I'm ready to come home." I came up for a weekend to visit some friends here and was in church service that weekend it hit me that this was the home that I couldn't get away from. A month and a half later I was in my first class.

i prefer the stuff on their "acts of depression", "cries of the past", and "changing of the times" albums much better
