Ok, I've been on Myspace forever. I was on when it was just going around the underground music scene and all of that, joined back in January of 04. It started getting really big about a year later probably, maybe a little later. I didn't mind, I thought it was cool that more and more people were getting on there. However, the phishing and spam has got to freaking stop. I keep my e-mail open all of the time and the last seven things have been Myspace spam stuff. I'm seriously considering just deleting the whole thing. I have a feeling Facebook will start to become the same way now that they've opened up to everyone. It's just annoying, and I felt like complaining.

on your account settings you can turn off the automatic emails from myspace letting you know about stuff, but yeah, it is really annoying. everytime i go on i have like 5 friend requests from porn stars wanting me to view their webcams. I would delete it, but its the only way i have of contacting my brother right now as he and his wife are missionaries in france

I like getting the e-mails because if someone sends me a message (one of my friends), I like to know.
