UFO's

Okay...

Let me set the record straight. I don't believe in Martians or lifeforms surrounding Uranus or anything (snicker), but something is definitely up.

France says they're releasing 50 years of classified docs on UFO's... The governor of Arizona says that mysterious lights over Phoenix were UFO's... and the former defence minister of Canada (or someone in that position) says that global warming can be solved if the countries of the world release what they know about aliens (because aliens needed a super fuel to reach earth, so we should use that fuel and lessen our dependence on carbon-emitting ones)...

All this to say this: Isn't there a specific verse in the Bible talking about the manifestation of demons in the latter days?

Something like that? Help?

Unless you're all in on the conspiracy, too...

Define "latter days". I'm one who believes we've been in the "latter days" for the last 2,000 years or so and sees no Biblical evidence to suggest that the Rapture is any more likely to occur in 2007 than it was to occur in 1007. (Aside from the obvious passage of time, of course.) I'm in the evangelical minority there, I know, and have probably just sent this thread way off topic much earlier than usual.

That said, I don't know of any specific verse that says what you're referring to but everybody knows that UFO's are, in fact, real and are also powered entirely by happy thoughts and the static electriciy built up by petting live kittens.

I have little doubt that some of these "sightings" are indeed demonic manifestations however I'm not sure of a specific verse taht ties this into the last days, but perhaps you should ask the same question in the "Chapel" section of the board.

I think these "sightings" are really just people seeing top-secret aircraft that the military has not disclosed information about (nor do we want that info disclosed for quite a while). Thats my opinion, feel free to call me a conspiracy theorist

Yeah, the funny (or sad, depending on your perspective) thing is there was one guy in Arkansas recently who talked about seeing all these lights... and near the bottom of the story, it mentioned that he lived near an army base.

Winston Zeddemore sure seemed to think so.

I approve of any thread with a Ghostbusters reference.

I'm usually behind the military theory. Area 51 still doesn't officially exist for a reason.

I'm afraid only alien technology would be capable of that.
