What is the deal with the "Flamefans.com" icon on the top of the page?? This totally reminds me of when I returned to Liberty one year to read a HUGE sign saying "This university is politically incorrect". Do we really need shout that we are intense, loyal, and opinionated or could we let the message board say it with the topics addressed?

Regardless, I do enjoy this place! :D

You must not have been following the t-shirt/sign discussions. TallyW came up with the logo you see at the top as part of the t-shirt design and then he built the fiery version for our masthead. On the t-shirts, the tagline helps explain our passion. On the site we are using it for uniformity. Personally I think it looks great.

ill third that.......i think the site looks great, but there is no way to get 100% approval from everyone....i'm guessing compared to every other school, our website is considered new.

The logo is terrific! I wouldn't change a thing about it. I love it. TallyW is my graphics hero now (SJ you are still my overall hero and not bad with graphics either).

Back handed compliment if I've ever seen one.

See if you get anymore signs.

2" of snow covered by 3" of solid ice!

Roads are fine, my driveway is not.

The kids are playing hockey with a puck on my backyard which is strange but cool :)

How are the northern 'burbs?

I like this too...I am still working on my own logo but its more a personal project now than something for mass production

ditto.

I'd be better off with a hatchet than a shovel.

Sounds like you got the sleet storm we in NO VA got in Feb. Bad thing was, we had 1 week of frigid temperatures to follow. You're right, you need a hatchet to get through the ice. We had 6 inches back in Feb. and 5 of it was sleet. Most sleet I've seen in my entire life. After a couple days, we were literall driving on top of several inches of sleet in the parking lot. People were breaking shovels and ice flying off the roofs of cars was breaking windshields. It was one mess. Worst ice we've had in more than 10 years. Thankfully though, it wasn't freezing rain.

Maybe Tally can hook me up then :o :P Really though I will have to retire my Larry Blair avatar soon. Can you use my facebook pic? Actually I may need a different one since coach D is in it with me. That would just make people want to keep beating a dead horse so to speak.
