A Sea Of Red

So I got a call today and then all of sudden my phone freaks out and the pound key continues to show up on the display screen over and over and over again and it won't stop...so I can't make calls, I can receive calls...nothing...anybody know anything about phones that could help me??This is the phone I use as my home phone as well so I really need to figure it out

And if there is nobody that can help is the closest Verizon Wireless place really in Roanoke??

do you have some sort of SIM card or memory card in it?

I would remove that, then re-insert it.

power off, power on, and see if that clears it...

I'm a Nextel guy and weird stuff that usually requires reprogramming

it doesn't have one...but I did remove the battery and put it back in and its nothing i thought maybe the pound key itself was stuck, but it doesn't appear to be....I don't get it...it just randomly started doing this....

i would go find a brick wall, or a cement driveway, or the road. then pick the phone up over your head and chunk it as hard as you can at the brick/ cement.

roanoke is definitly the closest verizon store........i personally had to go there three times in the past month or so......one phone i dropped when i was playing golf in the golf cart...i dropped it my phone, then i ran over it with the golf cart, and dragged it on the pavement for a few yards....my next two phones i dropped in the toilet......for the past 6 months they have been telling me that SOON they will be putting up towers in lynchburg....but im not holding my breath

well, it has randomly stopped doing it so I don't know what the deal is....Its working fine now so unless it happens again there is no way I am driving all the way to Roanoke just to get my phone looked at...

Alltel is the CDMA carrier in Lynchburg. Verizon won't be putting up towers here unless they buy out Alltel.

A tip all verizon users probably already know - when you are outside of the burg in the real world and have verizon coverage hit star 228 send and #2 after the prompt. This will update your codes. My son does this on trips from time to time and he has good service in Lynchburg.

yeah i have had verizon for about a year and a half now and found out about that trick 6 months into the whole thing...I like verizon...very good service and everything, I just wish they had a place here in the burg
