thanks man....I said this in the football thread where I actually made it to 1,000, but its funny how much my fiance makes fun of me because the sentence sentence, "I read on flamefans today...." has become so very common

haha, I got the same jive from my wife, so now I just say "I read today". And sometimes if she asks how I know I just say "I have sources".

This is true, I try to get my FlameFans fix while at work, so when I get home I don't HAVE to get on. However, when there are games going on, or during the big news of RD last week, I was glued to the computer, and let's just say she wasn't too happy.

SLY/EL SCORCHO take notes:
create yet another forum- this one exclusively for FLAMEFANS.com "widows"
ONLY wives/fiancees/gf's/significant others need apply.
Their chance to vent about how stupid, juvenile, "dorky" and/or "geeky" we are.
suggestions for Forum name?
hows about: I HATE THAT FREAKIN' BOARD
or : I'M REALLY STARTING TO GET AGGRIVATED NOW
also: YOU PEOPLE ARE STUPID (thanks MrsPostman2b)

haha...this thread has taken on a life of its own...I have a feeling once we are married and she really knows how much time I spend on here she will be more vocal about it, but right now she laughs at me and just calls me stupid, haha

Just do what I did. Find a message board as equally distracting and interesting for her to be a part of.
Now we both sit in the living room with our laptops open not paying attention to the tv and barely talking.

I tried that about a year ago. I got her sucked into reading a LOST messageboard but then she got bored.

My wife is stuck to Myspace. There is also this other website she just found out about where you can look anyone's name up and see every time they've gotten a ticket or been in trouble with the law. She has been going through every person she knows!
