FlameFans.com Email

For those of you who have FlameFans.com email addresses, you should have received a Private Message containing a new password for you account. If you have a FlameFans.com email address and did not receive a PM, please send me a PM and let me know. If you have forgotten how to set up your account for FlameFans.com email, the settings are as follows:

Account Type: IMAP*
Incoming Mail Server: mail.flamefans.com
Outgoing/SMTP Mail Server: mail.flamefans.com
Username: Use your full flamefans.com email address. (Ex: elscorcho@flamefans.com)

Additionally, if your client has the options for connecting to the server over SSL, please enable those options to protect both your email and your password. Your client may ask you something about an invalid server certificate if you're using SSL, but this is okay.

Furthermore, if you want to access your mail via webmail, you can do so at: http://www.flamefans.com/webmail

Finally, if you don't have an email client, I highly recommend Mozilla Thunderbird, which you can download for free here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/

*We do support POP3 clients as well, but IMAP has the benefit of keeping your mail in sync between the server and your client. This is handy if you use webmail.

switched up from POP3 to IMAP and a total disaster ensued.

I can't even access the direct link :?

get that white microsoft error screen

whats nice is that every 5 minutes my Outlook sends an error message that its not able to connect :x
