LUconn, I dont know if you heard me in the other thread but I modded my xbox and put a 250GB HDD on it and since it's modded you no longer need the disc to play the games, it's sweet

I'm all about some video games though

yeah, my roomate had a modded ps2. and it was pretty cool all of the tricks you could do with it. I've got a xbox 360 and it was tough to afford so I'm not anywhere near ready to modify it.

once a good mod chip thats safe and effective comes out I'm going to buy one, but your right, it's just to much money to use one of these 1st gen mod chips and you never know how it'll work

I played PONG when Atari first came out w/ it, and Mario Brothers when it came out on the first Nintendo things. Thats it- nothing since 1991- and I sucked at it then. Never got past the first screen or whatever.

I only play sports video games. Lately I've been playing March Madness, and I got the flames into the Big East after making two straight runs into the sweet 16! I also am currently ranked 10th in the nation!

I play Tiger Woods, NCAA Football, and FIFA Soccer mainly on XBox. I'll play some other games occasionally but those are the big three.

But SJ can you just do a season mode and not be the GM of the team? B/c I always am in first place but get fired b/c we lose money! and I dont want to choose a different team b/c I like the team I'm playing with...it's really frustrated me so much I have only been playing Tiger Woods

I haven't played 06, but on 05, I just did career mode and it was basically just a bunch of seasons and you were the coach. You can buy and sell players if you want but you don't have to.

I only play Madden 06. I have been ranked in the past as high as 198 in the world but I don't play that way anymore. I mainly play people I know online. I used to challenge all the top players and beat enough of them to become a top player but again, it got too stressful trying to worry about the rankings and getting a loss when your connection goes out etc. My screen name is timscar20. Let me know if anyone wants to play. I use a headset too so we can talk to each other if you have one.

You made me laugh. I still have Pong. I bought a CD with some of ATARI's old games like Centipede and Pong. Classic stuff.

I just got Black....it's made by EA Sports, and it's really sick, it's worth a shot if you enjoy the first person shooter type game very similar to Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon, or something like that

I left my XBox at home after spring break. Luckily the only game I left was FIFA. Tiger Woods 06 is sick. It's so hard.

Funny thing is lately I've been playing the old games. My neighbors have a Nintendo 64 and we've been playing MarioKart on that. Then some guys I know on campus just got a Super Nintendo so we've been playing the crap out of that too.

Seriously. I started playing, and somewhere around level 25 for my first character I just had to stop and say "What the heck am I doing?" For me, it's way too much time and effort to spend on a video game. Of course, I've never been much of a gamer anyway. Maybe I just don't get it.

Yeah....the worst is when you break a sweat and your toes are curled and the slightest noise freaks you out b/c your surround sound is cranked up.....I really hope I'm not the only one

It is the symptoms described above that caused me to stop trying to get ranked in Madden. Too much pressure for no good reason. I just play for fun now and I enjoy it so much more. There were more cheaters on line than I care to even talk about but I still used to beat them. They would disconnect their data cord when you kick a field go so the game would drag and lag, stuff like that....When I go to Philly me and my OLDER BROTHERS (I am the youngest) play the old Nintendo games! My sister in law thinks we are all crazy. We play bases Loaded, Contra and Mario brothers. I still like those games after all the technology out there.

I don't know if any of you are Nintendo fans, as I am, but I will say that I'm extremely excited for Nintendo's next console. Why? Because of downloadable games. They're going to let you purchase and download all of the old NES and SNES games. Not only that, they announced a deal on Friday that they'll also be offering Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx 16 games for download as well. This is in addition to all of the games for the system itself.

I love the old stuff, and now that they've added the Genesis games to the lineup, I think I just might be in heaven.
