I dont want to be as ignorant to think that a show that's on 3 times a week and breaking all kinds of records is going unnoticed on this board...ok, i'll start
my name is HMO and I have a problem.....I really like American Idol, in fact I Ti-Vo it and will go back and watch the good songs over and over...
I just wanted to see if yall even watch it and who yall like (I'm on record for picking last years winner during the 1st round going from city to city just looking for people, so yeah, i got the eye....even though i mainly picked her b/c of her looks)

I am quite proud to say that I have NEVER watched a SINGLE episode- EVER.
EVER. In however many years its been on now.
But thats just me- a manly man.

HMO? Idol? I suppose you've been watching ice dancing, too?
WAITER! A glass of water for me, and a tall frosty mug of TESTOSTERONE for my friend--he's running low!
(So, who do you like? Pickler? Ace? Paris?)

HI.... my name is Tally (group: "hi Tally")
Umm HI. Yeah, anyway, I watch American Idol (in a hesitant voice)
(Group: "It's okay Tally, welcome aboard.")
So yeah... I'm thinking Ace or the bald guy and I don't know what people saw in the kid with the beard last night.
Looks like 3 or 4 of the girls are good but this season is more about attitude than raw talent.
Okay... I'm going to sit down now. Thank you for your time.
(Group Claps as I sit back in my seat)

(PA calls for back up b/c he cannot treat all of his external wounds he received once outside)
Like I said, I don't want to be as ignorant as to think that none of us watch it, this show is breaking tons of records
Name the last show that could be #1 3 nights out of the week...it's not even fair to say any sporting event b/c it wouldn't be the same unless the Red Sox and Yankees played the games in a row on ESPN and was #1 each time...so I'm getting more comfortable with my addiction
my favorte is Taylor Hicks (guy who sounds like Ray Charles), he's got soul brotha
It's just not fair to have someone like Ace though b/c those darn Teenie-boppers who have nothing else better to do then gossip and vote 1 million times...so I think he's the winner, but I'd love to see my funk soul brotha have a good showing then sign with Motown...there may be one thing stopping him with that though

The last show? Who Wants to be a Millionaire
My wife had me watching the very first season with her. But ever since she has known that she's flying solo unless I'm too tired to turn the channel.
Speaking of last year's winner, she sang at halftime of the All-Star Game the other night. She is an extremely small girl as well.

AND EXTREMELY GOOD LOOKING.
And HMO--I did not just pull 3 names out of my hat. I watch, too.

That show WAS HUGE, but then it just fell off, and I want to say by the 4th season it was just another game show....I cant remember did that come on more than once a week?

Millionaire was on 5 nights a week for a while, and I believe is still on during the day with that Meredith lady hosting. Mrs2b knows all the answers on that show, I'm scheming to get her on there

I'm late to this discussion, but yeah, I watch it as well. I usually don't make it past the auditions, but this year I have a DVR and I find myself watching it. I think it is between Pickler and Ace. I do like the tall Boston College girl, but I really don't think anyone else will beat the first two I mentioned. The bald, short rocker is probably the most talented IMO. He won't win, but will probably be the most successful in the LONG run (over the next 20 years). I'm just glad the Copa Cabana guy is gone. That dude just looked wierd!! I'm also ready to say bye-bye to the mouthy chick. I cannot believe they voted off the hot looking brunette!
o.k. I gotta quit before everyones "gay-dar" goes off and puts me on permanent homo-suspicion. I've worked hard to get off that list and am not willing to get back on!!

completly agree, the bald rocker may not win but at least a few companies will be waiting to sign him up.....That rendition of " Dead or Alive" ( or whatever the name of the song was) was amazing and i really can't wait to hear some more.

I have a feeling Bren doesn't take any offense to the girl cracks.
BTW how was that vacation to the Big Easy Pre-Katrina? You wouldn't believe what it looks like these days. It remains a ghost town no matter what you hear on the news.

Time to ressurect this thread. What did the esteemed members of this panel think about last night's final 12?
Kellie STRUGGLED Tuesday, but I think it'll be Kevin who gets the ziggy. Thought Bucky did a suprisingly good job with Stevie Wonder, but my Mrs. G's only comment was, "How come I can't get my hair to look like that." Had to appreciate Seacrest's Jessica Simpson "extensions" commment.

I bet you ladies could get Brokebacks's opinion on this one

I'm thinkin' Bucky goes this week. He did well but I'm not sure if he's gonna have a large enough following to keep him in the show... I'm thinking the 10 year old vote will keep Kevin.
