A Sea Of Red

So, I picked up a Nintendo Wii on Sunday afternoon at Best Buy.

Good grief is it fun. Wii Sports is so simple, but such a blast. Even my mother-in-law was into the bowling and tennis. It's pretty outrageous how accurately the games work.

As for other games, I picked up Madden '07, but I haven't played it yet. I hear the new controls are pretty fun. We'll see.

I've also been reading about "The Wii Workout" using Wii Sports. 30 minutes a day in a routine for a lightly to moderately active person will have you dropping a few pounds. When was the last time a video game console could claim that?

Anyway, I'm giving it two thumbs way up at the outset.

Agreed, but it's still pretty fun.

Tennis is where it's at.

I'm also enjoying the controls for Madden. There was a learning curve, but it's definitely fun. Especially tackling.

I like bowling.
