Alright you young hipsters out there. I need some help nailing down two songs. One I sorta know the lyrics too the other, not so much. But I know we have some really groovy "with it" peeps in the hood so here I go:

Song 1: "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me...."
Song 2: It has weird string instrumentals with a male vocalist. It is played on a Budweiser commercial. The strings sound sort of middle eastern. That it the best I can do

Anyone?

Two pages of songs recently used on Bud ads. WhatsThatCalled.com is useful for tracking down advert songs. AdTunes.com is also helpful.

they also play that song on mike&mike occasionally. Apparently "there's a party over here so you might as well be here." It sounds kinda black eyed peas-y.

Haize,

Is the Budweiser song a Jay Z song? Show me what ya got? I have that song if you want to borrow it. If it is not that song, I don't know what song you are referring to.

I think he's talking about the budwiser select commercials where the crown is everywhere. The song is probably called "don't hold back" since they say that a lot in the song.

I have Jay Z's Kingdom Come on my iPod and it definitely gets me through my workouts. I have played lost ones so much I am almost completely over it already. I love the whole Disc though.

I think the point is that clearly these manufacturers of alcoholic beverages seem to be hitting home with a certain demographic who tends to consume large amounts of its product. Consider yourselves sheep going 'Baaaaaa'.

The 18-25 demo ... nearly half of which are not legally able to purchase said product. This thread would be enough to make a suit on madison Avenue giggle with glee.
