EA used to be awesome, until some programmers complained that they weren't being paid overtime (whiners). EA lost a lawsuit, then shelled out a lot of cash. At the same time, 2K sports was developing some very good football & baseball games, and selling them cheap. EA panicked, then decided to grab monopolies on several franchises. Bad move; a lot of features got lost during the jump to next gen consoles.

However.....

NBA Live 07 bombed, so I thought that EA took its basketball franchise back to formula before releasing MM07. That's why I wanted to know...

The only thing I play is EA Sports John Madden. I used to play baseball, basketball, college football, college basketball and hockey but EA started making those games terrible. I used to love the hockey games. I may have to go out and get one soon.

Surprisingly, Soccer and Hockey games are a blast to play but boring as all get out to watch. EA goofed up big time trying to monopolize the business. It corned 2k Sports to do something big and they did, by blocking EA's second best game, MVP.

I did buy MM 07 for 360 and was very disappointed to see that, while they had LU's team, they had only 7 players on it.

I'm not kidding.

While the gameplay may be superior (i don't know, this game and others were glitching on me so I shipped my XBOX 360 to the repair center), if you want to play as LU, go with College Hoops 2k7.



Thus the obit on EA Sports has been written.
