The North Carolina bar filed ethics charges Thursday against the prosecutor in the Duke lacrosse case, accusing him of saying misleading or inflammatory things to the news media about the athletes under suspicion....Another of the rules Nifong was charged with breaking forbids "dishonesty, fraud, deceit and misrepresentation." The bar said that when DNA testing failed to find any evidence a lacrosse player raped the accuser, Nifong told a reporter the players might have used a condom. According to the bar, Nifong knew that assertion was misleading, because he had received a report from an emergency room nurse in which the accuser said her attackers did not use a condom.

I am really getting tired of Nifong.....he used this case in order to promote himself.....I still think the accuser is going to get more than Nifong....she has gone into hiding.

i absolutely hate nifong. the whole city has bad leaders, but Nifong is up there with the worst.
i would love to see him lose his job at the least

He is an elected official. One who pandered to those that he knew would re-elect him.

durham county really needs solid leadership and this idiot does nothing to do that. he put his personal gains over the community which is racially divided and made it worse.
