make this a picture thread. Not of your specific car, but the car in general.

I agree with LUconn. Today's college age students have no grasp of the engineering marvels that were the '69 Cutlass and '81 Chevette.
And for the record, you must either be really hard on cars or had a short attention span with your rides for that type of turnover. And if you want to know something spooky, I drive a '98 Explorer as my car to and from work that I bought new which has 160k on it right now.

First car was a white 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. It had 190,000 miles on it when I got in October of 03 and about 214,000 when I sold it in July 04.
Right now I have a green 1998 Jeep Wrangler. It's got something like 106,000 miles on it. I'm looking to get rid of it soon. No picture is needed of this, all Jeeps look the same basically. I have full doors, not the half ones.

No time for pics either too busy with the infringement case!!
Alright, Alright here are the pictures!!!
1970 Ford Maverick - (Metallic Pea Soup Green then light blue, my mother installed green shag carpet while I was away. automatic; driven through 1984; this car was a tank - I destroyed 3 other cars with it and it barely dented!)
1973 Opal Manta (was Mrs. FYW's then became the family car! Orange and Black; manual, driven until 1989)
1980 Honda Civic station wagon (stolen in New Haven for a drug run ending its career in 1991; also Pea Soup Green; fun to drive on I-95 through NYC; manual;)
1983 Honda Accord Sedan (Dark Gray; manual; died in 1994)
1990 Mazda 626 LX (silverish, great car; manual; died in 2000)
1998 Mazda 626 DX (Dark Green - manual; traded in 2005)
(Mrs. FYW's 1990 Honda Accord hatchback; metallic blue - manual)
2005 Mazda Tribute (lapis lazuli blue - dogs chose type - we picked the color; manual)
(Mrs. FYW 1998 Nissan Frontier pickup with a license plate the reads Xena W(arrior) P(incess) with a massive Bush/Cheney magnetic bumper sticker on the tailgate. I keep threatening to stick a rainbow sticker on her bumper - but then she does that Xena yell and I cower back to my corner.
As you can see I'm a manual transmission bigot - my biggest pet peeve with Mazda is that they don't make the Tribute in a 6 cyclinder with manual - stupid catering to soccer moms.

1986 Ford Escort w/ diesel engine -- it got 60 miles to the gallon and then I wrecked it when my roommate freaked out over a hot blonde in the next lane. Thanks, Wittrien.
1993 Geo Metro -- hated it. Good mileage but couldn't get above 40 mph w/ 3 people in the car.
1988 Chevy Blazer -- loved it. Drove it till the wheels fell off. Literally.
1989 Dodge Colt -- inherited through marriage. Named 'Bob'. No AC. Goodbye, Bob.
1997 Nissan Sentra -- previously, the wife's car. Now, mine.
1998 Isuzu Rodeo -- the wife and little Lib's current car.

1. 1980 Chevrolet Malibu: This picture is pretty much exactly what my car looked like. Saw it in a parking lot at LU one day.
2. 1986 Buick Skyhawk Custom Sedan: Kinda like this picture except it was
YELLOW.
3. 1993 Honda Civic EX Sedan: Acquired via marriage. I still own it. Boring, but completely predictable. It always starts. It always works. Like this, but black and with a sunroof...
4. 2003 Honda Pilot EX-L
5. 2005 Hyosung Aquila GV250: Not a car, but still my favorite ride.

finally someobody with some pictures. Motorcycle - you're my hero. I've starting hinting to the wife about one recently. Gradually trying to get her immune to the idea. I don't think it'll take.

1970 Ford Maverick. An early run with the ignition on the dash and solid metal bumpers. Lasted me 2 years of HS and all 4-1/2 years of college...
...the 8-track in it was kicking. Put 15K miles on it the last year I had it driving back and forth from JMU to Columbus, OH as I was courting my now wife. (Sniff sniff. I miss that car)

1984 Renault Alliance. The 1983 Motor Trend Car of the Year. Payments a whopping $177 a month on my first out of college car. 5 speed with AC and no radio...
...but I added a nice Alpine unit to it.

1986 Chevy Panel Van...
...for Vending business I ran with my pops
1987 Pontiac Sunbird GT Turbo. Looked sharp, ran like crap.
1984 Mazda GLC Hatchback
1989 Subaru Justy. 2WD but maybe the best car I owned
1990 Subaru Station Wagon. Was great for hauling coolers and field setup.
1994 Plymouth Acclaim
1999 Pontiac GrandAm. Another piece of crap and I will never buy a Pontiac again.
2001 Hyundai Elantra. My current car. Nice little ride.
2000 Honda Accord EX. Traded in the GrandAm. My wife drives it.
1993 Honda Accord EX. My son's car, but I picked it out.

In the 12 years since I've been able to drive, I've only owned two vehicles:
1985 Mazda 626 - Got it in late 1995 when it only had 60,000 miles on it. However, I put a good 80,000 miles on it as I made the drive from my parents' house in Maryland to Rock Hill many times in the 5 1/2 years I owned it. The A/C never worked, the driver side door eventually didn't open from the inside, and it had plenty of other quirks. This isn't a pic of my actual car, but it was the exact same model and color.
2001 Dodge Stratus - "I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS" (for those familiar with the SNL skit). This was my college graduation gift to myself (a year late). A crappy factory paint job has required me to just recently repaint it (even though it is only 5 1/2 years old), but otherwise, it has treated me well. This pic is very close to actual, though I don't have the 'R/T' model, but it looks the same (mine just isn't as powerful)
Not very exciting vehicles, but they've done a good job at getting me from point A to point B.
