I have a Magnavox 42" plasma TV and I have a question for you guys. For some reason there is a bit of a delay when I try to play XBOX on my plasma. For example, playing a baseball game is impossible b/c you have to press the button to swing the bat when the pitcher still has the ball in his hand. The timing is simply off. I also notice a slight delay when watching digital cable between the mouths of the people on screen and the voices. I'm wondering if this is a normal thing that I just have to deal with or if I should get it looked at for repair. Any suggestions will are appreciated.

You'll have to give us a better idea about your signal path, I think. In other words, where does the signal travel to get from your Xbox to your TV? Is the Xbox plugged directly into the TV? Do you have it run through a receiver, DVR, etc.?

Are you using a receiver for some kind of surround sound? I'm battling a similar problem but only with live TV. Xbox and movies, the sound is fine. But no matter how I route the DVR audio, through the TV to the receiver or just directly to the receiver, the sound is always behind. I can't figure it out so I just have to use the speakers on the TV.

I had it going directly into the TV. I tried it through the back and side plugs on the TV as well. Right now, I just have the XBOX hooked up to a small tv in my room since I can't play on the big plasma in my living room.

Well i guess ill ask the question.....what type of TV are you guys using. YOu can usually search the net for some bugs in off brand TV's as that is what this could be.....not sure though. I say that because a Maxent Plasma vs. a Pioneer plasma would cause me to probably try different things with differnent options.

I was playing MVP 06. Madden wasn't working either though. The kickoff meter timing was way off.
