Since I am preparing to sail the seven seas here shortly, (Insert: The Love Boat, soon will be making another round, the Love Boat something exciting for everyone, set your course for adventure your mind on a new romance.......but I digress) It got me to thinking. We know we have em. and we know why/when/where to use em. But what are some of the "make out" "power ballad" "love songs" that work or that you like? Mrs Purple has hers (T or F They are downloaded on my iPod for this week) and here are some of mine that "worked". Most will be from the 80's

3. Fly To The Angels - Slaughter
4. ANYTHING by Enigma
5. Don't Give Up - Peter Gabriel
6. All I Want is You - U2

8. Friends - Michael W Smith (Pure gold at church camps. GOLD Jerry GOLD!!)
9. Hold My Hand - Hootie and the Blowfish
10. Here Comes the Rain Again - Eurythmics
11. Missing - Everything but the Girl
Ok those are a few, can you tell I am bored waiting to leave?

Question is where are you going and what quantity of drugs did it take to get you there?

This is like a Z-100 flashback for me. Those of you old enough to remember this music may remember me on the air as Kraig Ransom. There used to be a local band from Roanoke called January Rose that a tune called "No Alibi" that we used to play to death back in the day. And you can't have this list without "When I'm With You" by Sheriff.
I couldn't believe it took that far into the thread to get to Boston.

The morning of the cruise, so this is a last post. Here are some more (GOOD stuff PA, still picturing you in the 3/4 sleeve Led Zepplin shirt) Seriously though, you didn't get a lot of action with all those Ozzy love songs did you? Be honest! That would be FAITHFULLY by Journey
Smile Has Left Your Eyes - Asia
Total Eclipse of the Heart - Bonnie Tyler
Blue Eyes - Elton John
Wicked Games - Chris Isaac
Forever and Ever Amen - Some Country guy, it was a bad phase in my life.
Home Sweet Home - Crue
Rain In The Summertime - The Alarm
Train in Vain - Clash
Your No Good - Van Halen (Ok That was a break up song)
True Colors - Cyndi Lauper
Alone - Heart
In The Air Tonite - Phil Collins
Pictures of You - The Cure
That is all I can think of for now, other things on my mind. To answer a "previous caller" it isn't how many drugs you sell, it all goes back to my new tag line!! BUT we are heading to the Bahamas, Grand Turks, Caymans and Costa Maya. I hope Mrs Purple can swim. I have been gone so much we may start to give each other grief, and then one little hip check from me and SPLASH over our balcony she goes!!!! "Really officer I know it is Friday and I haven't seen her since Monday, but I just thought she went for a walk!" Nahhh. Could be a lot of Do Not Disturbage. And did I menton 24 hour food available? I hope the boat will float by Wednesday!!!

Bonnie Tyler?? That's pretty gay, Haize.
You guys need to get serious
Journey - Just died in your arms tonight
The Scorpions - Wind of change (I think that's what it's called)
The Scorpions - send me an angel
Does ELO count? or is that too disco-y
Because then you've got your Strange Magic and your Can't Get It out of my Head, and many more.
edited to include Ah ha -take on me. How could this go overlooked

AH-HAH was overlooked for obvious reasons.
and Winds of Change IS one of the greats- good pick.
letting you slide on ELO. Kinda like Floyd- you really need to be in the mood for it
