now if only I can configure Outlook correctly.

I can't even config outlook for my LU email. I'm not even going to attempt the FF one.

I've had one for a while now but have not shared it with anyone. I have a few email addresses as well Medic.

for the setup: SCORCHO advised me its mail.flamefans.com for both the POP (in) and SMTP (out) servers.

I use my Gmail e-mail through Outlook.

I think it's impossible to get LU's through Outlook.

I have Express.

If you're a student, you can buy Office 2003 (and Office 2007) through the campus bookstore for something like $12. The upgrade to Outlook is well worth the money.

If you're not concerned with your LU email, Mozilla Thunderbird (from the same people that brought us Firefox) is much better than Outlook Express, and it's free.

Yes. Liberty has a Campus License agreement with Microsoft. Microsoft Office for PC or Mac, as well as the latest version of Windows are discounted to less than $20. When you graduate, you can go to Microsoft's website and get a full retail license for your software, too.

Scorcho, I got a new laptop for Christmas and it has actual Outlook on it. How do I set it up for LU's e-mail?

I've tried that 3 xs now and it nukes my Outlook everytime.

Last time my IT guy was here 4 hrs undoing what I did- had to reinstall the enitire Office Suite.

something about bad .dll files and Windows installer.

now I'm not allowed to touch it.

here's a question, before any of this change, I couldn't get my outlook to connect to get my flamefans mail. Is it possible for my work to block that out without blocking this website. They are kinda nazis about webmail. I've yet to find a webmail service that they haven't blocked.
