We have downloaded and played the first half of a Liberty game (agains JMU) on NCAA 25. Pretty impressed! It is great to see Williams Stadium and to hear the fight song!
EDIT: You will be glad to know Liberty beat JMU 48-20.

Salter is almost a cheat code. The details about Liberty is super cool to see. The fans doing the LU sign with their hands, move those chains, etc. The roster is rated highly which is cool. In dynasty mode, being a 1.5 star team in prestige is a bit low in my opinion. Essentially we’re on par with U Mass and other schools that are pretty pathetic. Also giving us a D- in academics seems like a shot.
I’m not a huge madden fan so I don’t know that gameplay well but it does feel different than Madden from what I recall.
It’s pretty fun overall but I’m maybe past the point in life where it seems worth it to play for extended periods of time but I’m glad my kids get to play with Liberty in the game. It’s fun for them and makes them bigger fans of the players.

Other than academics, how did they rate LU in the other categories such as facilities and stadium atmosphere?

Facilities is a D- which I think we all know is absurd. I’ve just played one game this morning (absolutely dump trucked coastal) so I don’t remember all the other ratings.

I saw that too. How much effort did they put in to that score.

The only ones I really have an issue with are facilities and brand exposure. Facilities should be a C or C+ where the top G5s and bottom P5s tend to be rated. Brand exposure shouldn't be very high since we are a new FBS school but considering we were just in a NY6 and don't do too bad in NIL (which is where that is factored in) I probably would've put us as a D+ or C-.
Team prestige is just the average of the above grades. If you fix those two we would be closer to 2.5 stars which is roughly where we should be based on how they rate schools. Considering how many years video games take to make, I'm curious how long it's been since they created these grades. The more I think about it, they probably made them prior to our NY6 appearance.

I think you may be right. I noticed they don’t reference last seasons bowl or records in the game so it’s possible our ratings are based off of 2022 not 2023.

Salter/Cooley and Liberty’s playbook is the best for tier 2. I’ve seen a lot of people use us online.
As for Dynasty. Facilities should’ve been at least a B, brand exposure C+ other then that, I agree with everything else.

In these games the grades are usually a little lower than you think they should be because they limit the number of As they give out to about 25 in most categories. This means mid tier P4s like Baylor, minnesota and Virginia Tech end up with Bs and low tier P4s and top G5s get Cs. Liberty doesn't have as many of the ridiculous bells and whistles that the mid tier P4s have so C+ seems fair. Below is a Google doc I found with every schools recruiting pitch ranks for those interested.

I'm overseas so when I'm not working I have way more free time than I've ever had before. I can only work out or read so much before I start going down strange rabbit holes on the internet.
