I have to admit, none of the other fanbases seem to have as much interest in their teams. Of the other boards that are remotely active, Coastalfans is a ghost town when football isnt going on, and I'd like to see how Winthropfans does during some lean basketball years.

She indulges me a certain point ... but then she brings down the hammer.
Its funny, both she & my father-in-law have been wanting to find a nearby Liberty game to attend lately. That's tough when we're in Texas. Perhaps baseball will give us a roadie down our way in the spring. But you can count on us travelling up to the 'Burg for football next fall (hopefully for several games).

my count has gone down as well...I have a woman and she actually can withstand sports, she just happens like the rival of every team that I like!!!!!!

Well they say opposites attract but thats just waking up everyday and knowing a fight is going to happen....good gosh.
I married a women who likes live sporting events, but hates watching on TV ( except some football ). So i get a date to the games and no distractions when the big game comes on.......and no kids to date.

She like going to the games in person--you mean. You can watch "Live" sporting events on tv.
