LycaTel LLC, an entity owned by a Sri Lankan-British national, reportedly donated $350,000 in July to McAuliffe. The Free Beacon reported the entity is a subsidiary of the owner of a “U.K.-based telecom conglomerate, which boasts a complicated web of offshore businesses and has been the subject of tax-fraud and money-laundering charges in France.”

Apparently the people of Virginia are not fans either.
I kinda sorta saw a change coming, but it was way beyond what I expectded. All statewide positions went red, and while the results aren't all in for state legislature, that looks like it could swing red as well.

Youngkin threaded the needle perfectly with his campaign without alienating anyone. His strategy re: Trump worked like gang busters and took any power away from the Dems trading on anti-Trump sentiment to get elected.

That and many now realize McAuliffe is a Clinton era scamster.

McAulife is a slime-ball, for sure. The lesson maybe above all else is that good candidates win and bad candidates don’t. Still struggle to understand how McAuliffe won in the first place.

Kamala campaigning for McAuliffe last week was the funniest takeaway for me. Telling people in Norfolk it’s time for New Democratic governance in VA. UMMM, ma’am, you do remember he was Governor a decade ago?

What Tuesday confirmed (And, I live in NJ.) is that campaigning as the anti-Trump has a shelf life of a year or less. Once you get the power on that basis, Dems, you gotta do something with it! And not let the far left wing of your party run away with your party.

The Repubs learned this through the Tea Party awhile ago.

It’s all just pendulum swings.

If I remember correctly, the Tea Party emerged in 2009 and in 2010 the Rs won 63 house seats which Obama called a "shellacking". House remained in R hands until 2018, Trump midterm election. Trump bad and any R is a racist is catching up with the Ds, hence 11/2 showing .
