President Trump plans to nominate a Liberty University professor to serve as the administrator for the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in the Department of Justice, the White House announced Tuesday.

Caren Harp is an associate professor at Liberty's School of Law.

Liberty University is an evangelical school run by Trump supporter Jerry Falwell Jr. The president gave the school's commencement address in May.

If approved by the Senate, Harp would oversee the department responsible for developing juvenile justice programs.

Haven't checked, but is she really qualified or is this a bone thrown out to LU. There will be a law professor running for Goodlatte's seat, too.

From friends that have completed the law school at LU, she is spoken very highly of. Every single one of them has the utmost respect for her.
