Evangelical leader Franklin Graham defended President Trump against reports that he had an extramarital affair with porn star Stormy Daniels in 2006,
So you think he actually had said affair even though all parties involved deny it?
Even if true, how does this effect his ability to be President?
Even if true, the date would be prior to him becoming a Christ follower.
Do you also believe the reports the Trump had an affair with Nikki Haley?
Do you know the heart and spiritual condition of every other Candidate for President?

Considering I was less than 5 years old the last time he was running for office, never had to make that call.

I think this view point is virtuous, but I don’t see it as logical. There are millions of cases of men being more faithful to their sexual desires than to their spouse who are also great at their job. It doesn’t discount the adultery being morally, ethically, and spiritually wrong. Instead, it displays how successfully people compartmentalize different parts of their lives.

Well I certainly supported him as Teddy’s successor. I in no way thought Wilson was better. Beak nosed racist that he was. But Teddy had to try to get back in office. It was jus an awful mess.
And, oh yeah, I’m not the one who had the Marital Fidelity Caveat. Jack Kennedy seemed to do alright with the Cuban Missle crises while cheating on Jackie. (I would be remiss if I didn’t mention LBJ and ‘Jumbo’ )
I Liked Ike, even though he had a Mistress while planning the defeat of Nazi Germany.
Not sure if anyone really wanted to sleep with Nixon, but he was called ‘Tricky Dick’.
Truman certainly didn’t sleep around. His wife would have beat the crap out of him.
FDR was a horn dog, which is probably why the Depression lasted so long.
Carter was Uber Faithful to his wife and the Greatest American......never mind.
Obama may or may not have had a thing with Reggie Love, but I’m going to put him in the ‘Faithful’ category but certainly also in the ‘Crappy President’ category.
Harding could have done better than Nanna Brighton I think, but we all have our own taste.
Let’s not forget about that cad Tommy Jefferson! Cheeck Monkey that he was.

Wouldn’t want these guys running my church. But I don’t want my church running the Country. So it works out well for me.

If said pastor claims to be a Christian then yes, I'll hold him to those standards. But no one thinks Trump is a Christian.

There are those that say he has become Born Again, those who say he isn’t. My reference was in regards to those who say he is, and this alleged incident would have taken place prior to said decision.
Are you going to judge his Salvation? I certainly am not. He certainly doesn’t act like it at times, but Mitt Romney does and he is a Mormon. So I leave that type of thing up to The Guy whose job it is.

I just go off personal experience. I’ve seen a lot of people commit adultry in my life and in each of those cases, they demonstrated untrustworthiness in other areas of life, unrelated to sex and marriage.

That being said, I do believe in repentance and forgiveness and if someone allows God to do a good work in them, that is always a miracle.

But folks who demonstrate a lack of faithfulness to their family and don’t believe they did anything wrong haven’t earned my trust.
