Ok, now that I have your attention,

I will be attending my first ever live NASCAR race this Sunday thanks to my boss at my new job (Another discussion for another day), any HELPFUL suggestions?

They rent these at the race. I highly recommend one. Two people can share it if you get an extra set of headphones.

My first time was at a truck race at Martinsville speedway. I cannot echo the headphones comment enough.

Watch for your hotheads, and switch to their channel if it looks like they're going to do something stupid. It really helps you appreciate the race and teamwork needed in NASCAR. These are a lot better than watching a race without context.
