It's out already! Right now it's just those puny cartons of Southern Comfort but I'm sure PET will be soon to follow. Hurry to go get yours now before it's gone... in the middle of January.

I miss UDF egg nog from Ohio. We donj't usually get egg nog down here in Texas until close to Turkey Day.

Oh eggnog, the nector of the slightly overweight gods. And don't forget it's equally delicious cousin, boiled custard. My wife's family found out I like the stuff, so every year around the holidays, when I visit there's always a few cartons in the fridge, just for me. And I'm sure not to disappoint them. I try not to do it too often, but a half-gallon in one sitting really hits the spot.

And please, no watering eggnog down with milk, I can't stand that. It's like gay marriage, just not meant to be.

I wait all year for eggnog to hit the shelves! As I was walking through the grocery store the other day, it was as if a ray of light from Heaven came through the roof and hit the eggnog display. Unfortunately, I too need to be careful with how much I consume cause I am trying to lose weight by March. I only need to lose about 5 or 6 more pounds so I might indulge a little.

I've never tried egg nog. What does it taste like.

It's kinda got a vanilla type taste and textured like super thick milk. It's difficult to describe flavors.

Much better with certain "additives," though.

That's a lie, don't listen to him.
edit: Unless you're talking about nutmeg. Then it's debatable. But you weren't. I just wanted to cover my bases.

Is there a such thing as egg nog without nutmeg?

Just in case you always send the wife shopping... IT'S OUT. It's been out for a little while now. Been meaning to post it. It's expensive this year. I'm assuming because of Ethonol.

Is it just coincidence that you posted this one year to the day that it was posted last year?

Completely. I've been meaning to bring this thread up for like a week and a half and I finally just remembered.
