its all in what you make it. just like sub prime mortgages, if you don't have the where with all to understand that your 40 year ARM on a home 5x your yearly income is a bad deal, you shouldn't have any business making that deal.
a guy at work spent a few thou on community college and is finishing up his 4 yr degree at an instate college with very little final debt. he's not a genius. he just listened and took advice from alot of smart people.
