If you didn't know that I'm a nerd, now I'm making it official.

But I figure there's no better place to find other nerds than a collegiate sports discussion board, right?

Anyways, I'm really into in-depth sport games. I've been playing on whatifsports for a while. Do any of you play?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, go visit www.whatifsports.com They've got a decent college football, and college basketball game. Their baseball game is just fantastic. I'm not here to promote them or anything, just trying to see if anyone here is on WIS. Or if any of you are in to simulation games.

It's pretty awesome. And it isn't like 2K games or EA Sports games, where just about anyone can piece together a great team in their first season. It requires a lot of thought and creativity. I've been playing it for about two years now and I love it.

I played 6 seasons of the football one. Only had 1 season which was very successful at 10-3 and the other 5 were around .500 so I lost interest. Plus it gets expensive.

Which world did you coach in?

I'm at a D1AA school right now, and probably two seasons away from competing for a championship.

It does get expensive after a while, but I've yet to find a game like it.

So it costs to do the dynasty thing?

Yep. First month is $4.95.

It's $10.95 every season after that. But you get discounts if you make playoffs or bowls.

One season last about a month. I spend about the same for whatifsports as I do for Netflix.

Good Lord. I'm a nerd.
