hahahaha....man i remember that...LUPD was mad for weeks

liberty blocks anything if they find out one of 2 things about the site
1. there are sexually suggestive things on the site
2. there are links to porn sites

ebaumsworld is blocked too...i remember the time before it was blocked...I don't remember the day new videos are posts (I don't go there much anymore) but a bunch of guys from my hall would crowd around the computer and watch them...then it got blocked, we were mad

I am off campus now so it doesn't matter anyways

but yeah, i remember that deer....a lot of girls were mad about that too, haha

That's not true, actually. Liberty very very rarely blocks anything proactively. I mean like, once every six months maybe.

In reality, LU uses filtering software that has a catagorized database of URL's. That database is updated every night by the company who makes the software. Liberty has picked which categories of sites they want blocked. Then, the manufacturer categorizes URL's and updates the database daily. So if your favorite site gets blocked one day, it's not because someone at Liberty sits around deciding which sites to block and not block, it's because Websense added that site's URL to a category in the database that LU chooses to block.

Usually, if the site actually doesn't violate any of Liberty's standards you can submit a HelpDesk ticket and the Dean of Men's office will review it, and have IS unblock the site.

Either way, that was one of the best nights I ever had at Liberty

I am a deer hunter and not some tree hugger, but i dont' really find that funny. Digging up the spirit rock and rolling it down the hill, which caused LU to cement it in with steel bars was funny prank. Thats just dumb. Not to mention admitting to it being one of your best nights at LU wow, are you trying to get put behind bars for animal cruelty?

"Doe, a deer, a drunk old deer, by the big old spirit rock" Come on everybody. Sing along. You know the tune.

hey rocket rolling that rock down a hill is more dangerous than this prank......Yeah, I never said I was involved, I was just present at one point. It was amazing because LUPD could not find someone to question..hahahaha

Another example of LUPD's complete incompetence when it comes to doing anything other than writing parking tickets.

incompetance? They're university police, not freakin inspector gadget. (who incidently was incompetant himself so lets say inspector gadget with penny and brain) It's not like they can pull people into a room and interogate them. They do what they're supposed to with the resources they have.

Okay, so why don't you find some highly-skilled law enforcement officers willing to work for what the guys at LUPD make.
