A new report claims that iPhone users are smarter than those who use other "smart" phones. Of course, we already knew that.

Since when did completing a brain teaser faster make one smarter? With the difference between iPhones and Nexus devices being just five seconds for seven questions, one could just as easily say iPhone users read and answer questions faster than Nexus users...
And this is inconsistent:
A thousand smartphone users were challenged to take a series of online brain teasers designed to test their mental agility.
The study, commissioned by TalkTalk Mobile, surveyed 2,000 owners of the three major smartphone brands to determine whether the choice of handset was an extension of their personality.
So was it 1,000 or 2,000?

You prove the point! You actually read the tabloid article and are trying to debate it!

I am not at all surprised that iPhone users would answer quicker. They are far less likely to engage in critical thinking. Baaaaaaa!

The Daily Mail is a tabloid? Not familair with the UK press, but that would make sense after reading that article.

Oh dear Lord...this is why I stay largely out of discussions like this...I like my GS2. my sister has an iPhone and she enjoys it...my mom has a Galaxy Note 3, etc. no one in my family feels that the choice of phone reflects overall intelligence. now, the fact that some of you put so much identity in your choice of phone makes me wonder a bit about the psychological health of some members of this community though...

For the sake of "scientific curiosity," could you give us some data on your sister's intellect? I think we already have a base line.

(I jest! I jest!)
