I'm just shocked by this actually...he seemed like a nice, simple, innocent guy whenever I hung out with him. He also confronted me about my views on homosexuality a few years after we graduated.

Something similar only far worse happened a few years back with a guy that was in my dorm. I imagine this is a more common youth pastor thing than we'd all like to admit. Sin can get a hold of anybody and it gets out of control before you know what hits you.

We have a few youth pastors on the board. Are there safeguards that are emphasized in LU's program or is this kind of an elephant in the room?

I was the same way ATrain...and he and his wife (girlfriend at the time) were so happy together too...

wow, I mean he was a weird guy but he seemed like a good enough guy from the time I knew him at 90.9.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised by anything anymore.

So true. I'm not blaming the girls by any means but it's amazing the things teenage girls are wearing, saying, and doing. I had to unfollow multiple girls that I had as students on Instagram and twitter because of the things they were posting.

want to think less of someone? be friends with them on facebook. theres a good chance they'll give you the opportunity.

i get friend requests weekly from kids in the youth group...some i dont' even know. no thx. unless you are in the close friend circle, not happening.
