Sorry guys, but it's going to continue for the foreseeable future (although I don't think the rain will be quite as heavy)

Last year my garden was destroyed by drought. This year it's being destroyed by excessive water. I'm not cut out to grow my own food.

Our drought is growing more intense by the day. And we are starting to get these intense heat runs that accompanied the severe drought of a couple years ago when all of our lakes and creeks (and many rivers) went bone dry. We really could use some slow moving tropical depressions to hang out down our way.

Gracias! Even with irrigation, my yard looks horrendous. I didn't plant vegetables this year and I am thankful.

Went from an 8-10 day stretch of 90+ with heat index at or over 100 to 3 days with the high in the low to mid 70s and almost constant rain. I actually wore a light jacket yesterday.

This is all George W. Bush's fault.

It's because we had to turn the weather machines off due to Sequestration!

I've been in Austin since last Saturday and it has rained 4 out of 7 days. I'm staying up here by Lake Travis and it is 50 ft below it's normal level

If we sequester HAARP, who will manufacture heat waves?

Here along the Blue Ridge, my grass is actually beginning to turn brown... because it's been raining too much.

Usually most people have to cut their grass every weekend.

I can usually go two weeks, maybe three. Two weeks now, I have to start to cut at 5 inches and then go over it again at 3 inches.

Are you trying to one up the guy??
The humidity has gotten to me worse this year then ever before. 5 minutes doing work outside and I am drenched with sweat and since its been raining so much in the evenings the grass is still soaked for most of the morning leaving the hottest time of the day as the time I must mow.
Needless to say I didn't mow my lawn today, haha
