Senior Prank

I fully recognize that I will be scoffed at for recommending a Christian movie by certain corners of this board. But Mrs. Sly & I along with Sly Jr. took in the premiere tonight here in Texas of a new flick called 'Senior Prank' that was filmed in NOVA. Once again this a church-produced film much like the Sherwood movies from down in Albany, GA. Yes, for better or worse it pulls all the emotional stops to guarantee tears from anyone with a beating heart. So I recommend it to you for a date night because your wife/girlfriend will eat it up with a spoon. There may even be some LU ties but I am to lazy to look.

If you hated Courageous and Facing the Giants, don't bother seeing this one. The schmaltz is thick at times and the acting isn't going to snare many Oscars. But the story is timely and the girl who plays Grace is from our church which is why we had the premiere here. I wouldn't recommend it for kids under 10 but middle & high schoolers will get the messages loud and clear about how they should be treating others.

We always had good Senior pranks. Then they decided to start charging kids with felonies for silly things the year I was one

Yeah and that stuff can haunt you. My ex-roommate was a perpetrator of a "senior prank" and about 3 years later, after maturing quite a bit, he was applying for a job with the local Sheriff's dept and they asked if he did anything illegal ever and he stated "Well when I was a senior I did something dumb..." They responded with, "Oh, that was you...?" Needless to say they charged him with a felony and he was slammed with a few thousand hours of community service.

Sounds like your ex-roommate should be on world's dumbest criminals. Confessing to cops during your job interview...

My favorite was when one of our redneck friends somehow mentioned to get a cow inside of the school. I have no idea how he did it.

It was a lie detector test so from his point of view, it was a no win situation. But yeah...had to see that one coming.

James Fenimore Cooper was expelled from Yale for reportedly putting a donkey in his professor's office! :nono

1,000 baby mice, at a price of $.01 each, inserted into the ventilation shafts with the use of repelling gear and radio lookouts at strategic locations.

I'll deny it until the day I die.

No. The following year, with my sister as a senior, we pranked them (locked a couple doors behind them, pelted the. With paint balls from a slingshot far away, shined laser pointers inside windows to freak then out) while they were trying to accomplish their amateurish senior pranks, and then called the cops on them to really freak them out.

I remember when Matshark took a cat that was dissected in Advanced Biology during his senior year, and drove it thru the cafeteria on an RC car.

My lab partner and I two years later took the cat brains, heart, liver and lungs and put them in the Home Ec fridge.

Such was life at LCA, before the move.

Three greased mid size pigs let loose in my high school. Spray painted with the numbers 1,2 &4. you can imagine the admin spent the rest of the day trying to find #3. I will neither confirm or deny that I had anything to do with it.

PH, I've been thinking on it for a day and can't quite figure it out. I can put 2-3 items together for something in my head, but not every object for one prank. What the heck are the ratchets for?

PA: words escape me...
