Tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma over the last two days. The town of Moore has been devastated. If you are looking for a way to help financially, our Lt. Gov. suggested sending money to the Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief.

Kevin Durant stepped up big-time.

Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant is pledging $1 million for tornado relief through his family foundation.
The American Red Cross announced Tuesday that the gift from The Durant Family Foundation is meant to match other donations and be an incentive for more people to give.

Durant seems to everything the right way. I am sure he has his issues, as we all do, but so many athletes miss the mark but he seems to being doing everything the right way

I was thinking the anti-Dwight...LeBron is a hard person to like but he's got nothing on Dwight

Glad to hear your family has fared well through these bands of storms, SumItUp. The devastation in Moore is tough for most folks outside of tornado country to even grasp.

My wife's best friend and maid of honor's mom lost her house in the storms on Monday. She knows quite a few people in and near Moore and was on the phone for a lot of the evening checking with everyone to make sure they were alright

Our young adult group is looking into taking a group out there in late July/early August. Who could we talk to at GFTW?

We were ready to go underground tonight. There were two small tornadoes that went north and south of our town. No major storm damage in this area, but flooding is going to be an issue.

Still praying for your family, SumItUp. This has been nuts even by Tornado Alley terms.

Agreed on both counts. Ill be curious to see how the relief worker living in tents and RVs are fairing, let alone the residents
