80's Nuke Movies

Sure there was Red Dawn. But back in the day it was all about TV mini Series. Special Bulletin. This is my favorite one, better then The Day After, and IMHO, could easily be remade today. The technology is dated but the story is even more true today. Ironically, you can see the World Trade Center towers in the backdrop of the news desk.
In short, nuclear terrorists bring an atomic weapon via tug boat into Charelston Harbor. Then gives 'live' coverage of it. When this ran in 1983, never to be shown again, they kept putting up disclaimers that this was a fictional event.

Did you watch it? If you remade it you'd have to put in cell phones and web access. Plus could you do it as an all day thing? Or just a 90-120 minute 'real time' thing
