A shooting was reported Tuesday night on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, university public safety dispatcher Amy Clum told CNN.


The shooter was being sought, she said.

“The shooting is not ongoing,” the dean of students’ Twitter page said. “Police continue to search for one suspect. Stay indoors.”

That's terrible on any campus. Praying now for those impacted.

The student who was shot died. He was a 19yr old Sophomore. The shooter is still on the loose. Crazy. I used to live there my last semester at CCU.

Unnerving news considering the Big South Tournament is there next week. Crazy.
