Why don't we move the discussion about Liberty's politics in the NCAA realignment thread over here?

conservative politics and stupid statements by far the biggest reason why people don't like liberty.

We can't be ashamed of that, but if we toned down the political crap and stopped siding with certain political parties and stopped supporting certain extremist groups like the Liberty Counsel then maybe we could at least get rid of needless problems. We have a winner!

Very rarely do comments made by the school make it past this message board and the N&A. We're all right in it, so we feel the impact, but most of the country knows very little about us. You could count on one hand the number of comments or actions by people connected to the school that caused any real waves. And even some of those were taken wildly out of context.WHAAAAT?
Kricket wrote:I might be ignorant on this topic, but what makes the liberty counsel an extremist group?A class taught by Liberty Counsel encourages students to intentionally break the law if the law is not Biblical Law. Not only is that dangerous, but malicious and should be a good enough reason for LU to do everything it can to separate itself from that group.
jmdickens wrote:How about the 7th Day Adventist roots the group brings to LU that support the idea that homosexuals should be stoned to death? Yes, I was taught this.Someone actually told you to stone people to death?
