Based on what I read there, it doesn't seem that this has anything to do with the 'stand your ground' law. The guy shot from inside his own car into another car without the victim getting out of it first. How could he have felt threatened unless the kid had pulled a gun on him (which doesn't seem to be the case here)?
Also, if he didn't like the loud music in the parking lot of a place that he didn't own, why didn't he just leave?
Stupid.
