Following in Mike's footsteps of leaving behind a floundering solo career to become the new front for an old CCM stalwart band, Kevin has been cutting new tracks in Nashville and played their first gig as AA last night. Bassist Will McGinniss is the only holdover from the original group. Mark Stuart, who did that rock opera deal with Tait a few years back, is not involved at all anymore.

I realize this is not breaking news for most, but since he's an old LU classmate of mine I indulged myself in posting.

The original keyboardist for Audio Adrenaline teaches science at a school I sub in -- it was kinda cool to sit and talk to him about the "old days" of Christian music.

First thing I thought of when I heard about K Max -- all three former DC Talk members now have what they wanted -- they're all fronting a band.

Then I heard their music, and I thought they were joking, or their name was supposed to be ironic or something. Regardless, there is no way these guys could be relevant.
there were a handful of christian bands like AA that almost had a good sound...they were soooo close.....but it was just blah flacid "rock"

AA had the occasional song that was solid, but you're right on about their sound just sounding too much like they were trying to sound like a rock band instead of actually being one. They were bland enough to open for SCC on one tour.
