Lawless (movie)

A movie is coming out and it's based in my hometown, Franklin County, VA. I believe a few other members are from the area. Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy are a few of the stars in the movie. I know it's rated R, but it looks good. Anyone here going to see it or interested in it?

I saw the preview and thought it looked pretty good. I'm a sucker for gangster-style movies so I'll be seeing it.

Franklin County+ moonshine= good movie.
Since I'm a history major we should get an exemption to break the rules.

Are they still enforcing the no R-rated movie policy? Just seems a bit silly, in my opinion.

I had a history professor give us the "extra credit" assignment of watching Braveheart at Movies 10.

Its enforced only to the extent that if you talk about it in front of an RA you'll get reps (and rightfully so for being stupid enough to do that in the first place). Or if some tattle-tale prayer leader who takes things way too seriously turns you in. At least that's the way it was when I was there.
For the record, I never got reps for an R rated movie. In my entire Liberty career, 8 reps total:
Late to convo twice - freshman year (1 rep each)
Forgot work excuse for missing convo - sophomore year (4 reps)
Room cleanliness violation twice - junior year (1 rep each)
0 reps senior year

I got nervous when you started listing specifics as to every rep you earned while here at Liberty.

Good point. It wasn't enforced on my hall as long as you had your door closed, but it seemed that some RAs on campus enforced it more than others.

I got reps last year for an R rated movie.
I bought my roommate StepBrothers for his birthday. During room checks, my RA asked my roommate how his birthday went....my roommate then bragged about me buying him that movie....
