I'm torn between Radtke and Jackson. Marshall is obsessed with gay people, and Allen is a big government Republican.
And I know, "but jbock, we already know who will win." So what. Make a statement. It's what Paul supporters do.

Radtke, she was on my sister's hall at LU. And she said I had to vote for her. Tired of the Allens of the VA republican party.

Agree. I live in the 6'th congressional district so I'm voting for Kwiatkowski. I don't hate Goodlatte, but she's more of a libertarian.
I'm 90% sure I'm voting for Radtke.

And this has always been my point. Putting people like Radtke in office is a much better way to get conservative ideas passed. A conservative House and Senate with Romney in the White House spells great things for America

Conservative and Romney in the same sentence? C'mon Haize this isn't the Comedy Club!

I said the House and Senate being conservative. I didn't want to blow your mind with Romney....yet

Boehner isn't conservative. McConnell sure as heck isn't either.

No but when people start drinking the water in Washington, they change their "tea party principles" quite easily. Not that I'm saying Radtke would do that.
The point is, these people will still likely keep Boehner and McConnell in charge. If that happens, nothing changes.

radtke would have zero chance in beating tim kaine IMO. Allen would have a better chance. But As usual the GOP does not have a great candidate. Not sure who i will vote for yet.

The thing that sticks out in my mind were two things. One, the spending the problem. He was part of that. Two, the campaign he ran in 06 was one of the worst I've ever seen. His advertisements weren't working, and he doubled down and kept running the same runs. Now, I'm aware that candidates have staff doing that job for them, but if it's your job, shouldn't Allen have been at least a bit concerned? So those are my two reasons why I can't vote for Allen.
The whole macaca thing was stupid to attack him over. I haven't met a liberal yet who can tell me what the actually definition of the word is. But then again, they don't really care, all they care about is stirring up racial hatred and using it to promote their ends.
By the way, if you live in the 6'th district, the Democrat running this November is a socialist

AFP Coordinator, Annie Celatto, a former LU and LU law student, worked for Goodlatte and swears he is LU's guy....so I take her at her word

Not sure between Marshall and Radtke. Both have things about them I really like and things I'm a bit skeptical of.
If you want to have some fun with Marshall's unhealthy obsession with gays, watch the Seinfeld episode "The Outing" that featured Jerry and George vehemently stating that they weren't gay to a reporter who overheard a conversation they were having. The episode had a running gag of them saying "Not that there's anything wrong with it" after each defense. The woman playing the reporter who overheard them was Paula Marshall, Bob Marshall's sister.

I would love to say I'm voting for Radtke seeing she's an LU Alum, but after meeting her personally for lunch one day...well I guess I'll just be quiet on the subject.

If anyone cares....I voted for Karen Kwiatowski and Bob Marshall.
Quick note on Goodlatte: Voted to raise the debt ceiling 13 times, supported SOPA, PIPA, NDAA, voted for the largest entitlement increases since Lyndon Johnson, etc and so forth.
Karen will support an audit of the fed, sound money, opposes NAFTA (no 'free' trade agreement needs to be 1000's of pages long!) and Agenda 21 and debt ceiling increases. Those are the main points.
See if you can guess my political leanings!

I vote for Karen and Marshall. I have been campaining for Karen for a while now in between getting ready for the Virginia State Convention. Voting for Goodlatte really in my opinion just shows a lack of the facts. Not that your stupid but that you dont know how much Goodlatte tramples on the Constitution.

You are a libertarian I assume. What attracted you to Marshall? Dr. Sheh you can answer too. I'm just interested in hearing why. I don't think there really was a libertarian candidate. I promise not to argue with anyone about it, I just want to hear what attracted you to Marshall.

Right now Radtke is running about 25%. Not bad. But she really didn't do enough to win.
Goodlatte is only up 61-39.

I would agree that Marshall doesn't really seem like a typical Libertarian. The main things that attracted me to him (no homo) was that he authored and help to push through Virginia anti-ndaa bill, which makes it a crime for virginia law enforcement to help find and detain virginia citizens without proper cause and charges brought against. He has put forth some anti abortion legislation as well. Judging by his comments he is also for sound money and scaling back the military substantially, although there is virtually nothing to show for that on his record because as a virginia state delegate there isn't a whole lot you can do.
Not that it matters now, he's getting smoked with only 6% of the vote!
