there are 2 guys in my office who used silly terms like "birthers" and would froth at the idea that someone believed he wasn't us born. both of them now are like WTFridgerator. so i am at least enjoying that.
i certainly don't care but it seems to me that this guy almost doesn't want to be president anymore.

I still think he was born in Hawaii, but there's obviously a lot about Obama's birth and childhood, and even college life that is clearly being hidden. We don't have these questions with Romney, in fact, we know that Romney can't be President because he threw a milk carton on the floor when he was 6.
If I had to guess, I'd say that Obama just claimed himself as a foreigner to get extra benefits in life, much like Warren in Massachusetts called herself an indian to do the same.

Many people my parents' age don't even consider Hawaii a real state.

Save your trite retort for someone who gives two flying farts.
My post was in reference to the topic. A topic that hasn't been relevant since 2009.
The guy has been president for 3 years. Everyone has the option to replace him in a year.

Then why post here? Cause we don't really care that you don't care. We didn't ask what you think.

For anyone who actually desires to have the conversation, here is probably the piece that SumItUp was referring to.
According to archive.org, a website that caches websites on a regular basis, the Dystel.com website – the official website for Dystel & Goderich, Obama’s literary agents – was using the Barack Obama “born in Kenya” language until April 2007, just two months after then-Senator Obama declared his campaign for the presidency.

I found that real interesting when I first saw it.
To me it just adds to the mosaic that we still don't know a lot about this guy. As I always, I'm more interested in his college records, as both a student and lecturer. I have a sneaking suspicion he fibbed in order to get international aid etc.
But to blwall's point. He has done more then enough to prove he is a disaster of a President and in over his head.

Really? You want to say that Obama is a better President than Bush?

I just wanted to quote this for the first line. Well done for a Tarhole fan.

At best, the bio on the book shows a man who is willing to fudge his background for political/personal gain.
At worst, it gives the Birthers a reason to yell again -- just when we all thought they were gone.
Either way, it's not a good thing for the President, who has been remarkably silent on this one. I understand ignoring the stuff before, but this is something that he actually wrote. The silence is deafening.
