A Sea Of Red

They are playing in Crewe VA of all places this Friday. Since Sweet Home Alabama is apparently our unofficial theme song at Athletic events I was curious to see if anyone was going. I'm thinking about it. Mrs Purple is a NO. She said she paid her dues with Van Halen!

I saw them in Salem back in 2001 with Ted Nugent as the opening act. They put on a good show back then and I'm sure it will be entertaining now. I must say that of all the concerts I've ever seen, nobody played louder than Nugent did that night. My ears were ringing. My roommates and I were forced to yell at each other on the way through the parking lot that night just so we could hear each other.

I saw .... "The Lynyrd Skynyrd", front row seats ... in the mid 70's. Don't want to ruin the memory.
